If we are going to advance our organizations, we are going to need to build consensus on what's important and how we're going to make progress together. When people hold strong beliefs, and yet can find a way to move forward, progress can be made and problems solved. From the community to the board room to the Congress, raising the level of group decision making is an essential skill for today's nonprofit leaders.
