Participant Testimonials:

“If it wasn’t for this program we would not have the resources to have completed this project.”

 - Erika Durrer, Senior Planner, City of Manteca

“The City of Hughson appreciates the opportunity to be involved with the Great Valley Center’s Green Communities Project. The green house gas inventory of city owned facilities provides us with a needed tool to complete a city-wide green house gas inventory. The Green Communities Project was the first step toward completion of our Climate Action Plan, made possible by a Sustainable Communities Planning Grant. The inventory itself did not require a lot of time for city staff; an important consideration to anyone working in a small city.”

 - Thom Clark, Community Development Director, City of Hughson

“The experience was painless and cost-free and I would recommend it to all cities in the Central Valley.”
