Energy & Climate Initiatives

How to Get Involved

There are a number of avenues for involvement with the Great Valley Center’s Energy & Climate Initiatives. Opportunities exist for local governments, community-based organizations, professionals, college students, and volunteers. For inquiries about any of the opportunities below, please contact Bryce Dias, Program Manager, at or (209) 522-5103.

Community-Based Organizations

While there are no Energy & Climate programs currently available for community-based organizations, we would enjoy speaking with you regarding your needs and/or ideas for future projects.

GVC is currently considering candidates for an entry-level Program Coordinator position. We are seeking a mix of relevant education and 1-2 years experience in the energy/climate field. See the Program Coordinator position description for more information. Screening begins immediately.

College Students / Recent Graduates

The Agricultural Energy Efficiency (AgEE) / Small-Medium Business Energy Efficiency (SMB) program will begin recruiting in November to fill four (4) to six (6) openings for the winter/spring cohort. See the AgEE/SMB position description for more information. Screening will not begin until November.

The GVC continually accepts applications from interested parties, so feel free to send one in today.

The GVC always welcomes volunteers who wish to assist the organization with our outreach efforts. In addition, shadowing and research opportunities may arise from time to time.
