Mr. Smith Goes to City Hall: This session focuses on the success stories and challenges of residents from three Valley communities who have worked with policy makers and elected officials to change public policy.

::: Ink, Pixels, and the Remote: An interactive panel discussion focused on how residents and communities can use print media, television, and the internet to spark change and build coalitions at the local level.

::: Planting your own Grassroots: A panel discussion covering the steps to start your own effort to change your community.


Featuring Keynote Speaker Elliot Hoffman

Elliot Hoffman is the CEO of New Voice of Business and was the founder and former owner of Just Desserts.  Hoffman's focus is on energy, the economy and the emerging role of business to bring about the tipping point to a more positive future.
