::: Mr. Smith Goes to City Hall: This session focuses on the success stories and challenges of residents from three Valley communities who have worked with policy makers and elected officials to change public policy.
::: Ink, Pixels, and the Remote: An interactive panel discussion focused on how residents and communities can use print media, television, and the internet to spark change and build coalitions at the local level.
::: Planting your own Grassroots: A panel discussion covering the steps to start your own effort to change your community.

and the emerging role of business
