Economic development is not limited to attracting
businesses from outside the region. National
experts and local successes will meet in Chico
on Octover 21, 2004 to share their
thoughts on how successful locally-focused business
models,
marketing, and financing can be the basis of
distinctive economic growth. The event will
be held at the Chico-based Sierra Nevada Brewing
Company, a prime example of local innovation.
