California study backs more renewable power despite price tag- California will face about $60 billion in costs to generate a third of its electricity with renewable sources, the state's utility regulator said in a report issued Thursday. California Business Journal article

ENERGY TIP OF THE DAY
Plug home electronics, such as TVs and DVD players, into power strips; turn the power strips off when the equipment is not in use. TVs and DVDs in standby mode still use several watts of power.
