Although the wildflowers of Table Mountain are a colossal delight in the springtime, the flowers of Oroville are quite spectacular, too. I was walking down the Feather River and returned via Bird Street through downtown on April 19, and people's plantings were quite impressive.

Keep your kettle free of limescale- it will be more efficient. To remove limescale fill the kettle with a mixture of 2/3 water and 1/3 vinegar and leave overnight. Rinse it out well, fill it with water, boil the water, and discard the water.
