Renewable Energy

The first ever Fresno Solar Conference on April 1, 2005 was a great success! Over 100 people joined the Great Valley Solar Partnership to learn more about installing and financing solar systems for their workplace. Below you'll find a list of speakers and their presentations.

We are also very pleased to have Matt Thompson of the Fresno Bee On-Line create a "blog" chronicling the event and the development solar in the San Joaquin Valley. Read the blog post: Fresno: a solar utopia?.

The Central Valley can become California's home for solar power. Most of the region has as much annual sunshine as Los Angeles and more new rooftops going up than almost anywhere else in the state .
