Colusa County is one of the original counties of California, created in 1850 at the time of statehood. Colusa County is located in the Northern Sacramento Valley, bordered to the west by the Coastal Mountain Range and to the east by the Sacramento River.
Colusa County has two incorporated cities, with the City of Colusa at its county seat:
