Central Valley Renewable Energy Bus Tour

October 7- 8, 2004

The Great Valley Center's first "Renewable Energy Bus Tour" was a great success. 27 people from both inside and outside the region journeyed to seven stops over two days and heard from 31 experts on various renewable topics (...except for one speaker who specialized in wine drinking and good songs...many thanks to Don Phillips and Shannon of Phillips Farms).

The bus tour was designed to highlight the current success stories and future opportunities for renewable energy and energy efficiency programs and investments - large and small - in one of California's fastest growing regions. Below is a comprehensive list of all the stops. You can also download the trip itinerary and the mini-case-study booklet that was given to each of the participants.
