CVDN AmeriCorps*VISTAs were placed in individual community organizations (called "Project Sites") that are government or nonprofit agencies within the 19 counties of California's Central Valley. The CVDN VISTA Members, who were trained and supported by the Central Valley Digital Network, assisted organizations to increase their technology programs by training volunteers and staff to help with new learners. The VISTAs conducted grass-roots outreach in areas with populations not familiar with how to access the technology.
