The Central Valley Digital Network (CVDN) existed to provides access, innovation, and opportunity to Valley communities by strengthening the technology infrastructure of selected organizations and agencies through efficient use of leveraged funds, infusion of human resources, training and technical assistance.

To meet this challenge, CVDN trained and deployed AmeriCorps*VISTA Members—the domestic Peace Corps—into nonprofit organizations and agencies serving low-income communities throughout the region.

CVDN believes that access to technology must be accompanied by access to content that is of value and interest to the user as well as the skills and knowledge to access and evaluate the information.
